Step three.... Inform us of your travel dates, how long you wish to stay, and if you require accommodation.
Step four.... If you wish one of our staff will collect you from the airport (Varna, Sofia or Burgas)
Step five.... Once you have settled in visit our offices in Veliko Tarnovo, here we will together plan your viewing trips.
We advise 3-5 days to view you will be accompanied by one of our fluent English speaking property consultants.
Step six.... Select a property. We will now guide you through the rest of the buying process.
At NO point will we urge you to buy any property - that is your decision only.
Step seven.... Now you have found that property you will sign a preliminary contract. This contract is like our "sold subject to contract" in the UK, this reserves the property for you.
It is recommended you sign the contract and pay a 10% deposit as this holds the property for you. We assist you in setting up your company that purchases the land, once this is complete the final contracts are exchanged and full payment is made.
Step eight.... In Bulgaria foreign individuals can not buy land, so your own company is set up to own the land whist the property is owned in your name, this is quite straightforward and normal. We will help you all the way with these details.
If you buy an apartment with out land there is no need to set up a company.
Step nine.... Register a company.
We work with a respected local law firm, which will advise you and prepare all the documents this will take 2 to 4 weeks.
Step ten.... The solicitor will check all title deeds etc and prepare the contract of purchase. This will be signed in front of the notary.
Now all there is to do is pay the final fees Tax service 2% and notary fees.
